The objection does not oppose the principle of residential development, established by an earlier application, nor the fact that two dwellings are now proposed in place of one. It rests on the adequacy of the information provided on flood risk and drainage, protection of the Mill lade, neighbouring amenity, and access and road safety, the local road network being used by children and families travelling to the school as well as privacy concerns. FDCC indicated it would be likely to withdraw its objection if the application is amended or the information expanded to resolve these matters.
